It was almost 3 yrs ago when Liberty League found us. I was a burnt out sales manager at a car dealership, working more hours than should be legal and missing out on the most important part of my life. My wife and children. It’s funny how we “climb the corporate ladder” in an attempt to provide our family with a better quality of life, and somewhere along the line we get lost in the job or career, losing sight of the reason behind it all.

 Thanks to the opportunity offered to us by Liberty League, my wife, Samantha, a former headhunter then stay-at-home Mom brought me home in just over 4 months. Now I can’t even imagine why anyone wouldn’t get started here. It’s the simple yet important things like having dinner together as a family every night or on snow days being able to play outside in the snow with our 4 yr old son instead of cleaning off cars with my salespeople. We experience the blessing each day by being able to live our lives together as a family, and make more money than most people can even imagine.

 Liberty League has given me my life back! My relationship with my wife and children is truly amazing. I’ve learned so much about myself through Beyond Freedom, the Conferences and our community. Most importantly that anything is possible, and that I am totally responsible for my results. No one else. Just me. Personal responsibility goes so far.

 So thank you Brent and Shane for creating this incredible vehicle called Liberty League. Thank you for giving me my life back, and for the freedom we have to be with the ones we’re most in love with. I know in all that I am, if someone truly wants freedom and results in life and they’re willing to take personal responsibility, that there’s no better place than right here at LLI. No contest! Thanks.

A funny little story that really inspired me!

This past week I have watched parents come and go rushing to school, stressed out because buses have been continuously cancelled due to the tonnes of snow we have been receiving.  I was hearing these parents say, “I really don’t have time for this”.   It brought me to halt.  “No time to drop your kids off at school”. 

That really made me stop and feel a full sense of gratitude for Liberty League.  I have the time, not only to drive my children to school but also to be able to be present in their classroom, watching them grow and interact with their friends.  They have the opportunity to look over and see Mom smiling and being present in their day, that means so much to them as well as it does to me.   

I was visiting my daughters Kindergarten class and I was making pancakes with them.  They were mixing all the ingredients and laughing and getting really excited because they were really the ones making these pancakes.  As we connected and spent some time sharing this experience, I will never forget, this little girl look at me and say “I wish my Mom was here too!”.  That actually brought a little tear to my eye.  As a parent who use to work from 9-5 and commute back and forth to work, it never really came to me while I was at work, that my daughter would be missing me.  But really they do.  They love to share in their joy that they get to experience at school.  I have first hand experience with it, because once that little girl brought that up, then the next little boy, shared that with me and so on.

 That is why I love LLI.  The ability to grow with my girls, as opposed to my girls outgrowing me.  My purpose in life is to share this amazing opportunity with as many people I meet, so that they have the same opportunity to create their

That’s what we do at LLI.  We get to make money for taking a stand for other peoples greatness and then in return they will do it for others.  We are truly changing the world person by person at Liberty League International.

I have been here for 3 years and continue to expand my understanding of what service really is and how to put myself in a state of gratitude everyday for what I have been given.   LLI rescued me from a cruddy living, now I am a living testimate to others that you can have a life that you dream of…as long as you never quit and continue to reach higher and higher for your goals.

This should be my new book title!! 

My  husband, daughter and I have breakfast at the beach every morning we work our business, enjoy the scenery and take in the beauty of San Diego.  A guy came up to me the other day that seems to be retired and also has breakfast as much as we do at this top spot on the boardwalk.  He started off by asking my how old I was?  What a wierd question to ask I thought, but I realized why he asked it after a few minutes. 

He the proceded to ask if I was this beautiful little girls “nanny” or sister and take her to the beach to give the parents some time of their own!!  (WOW, was I excited, since I am hiting 35 this year. ) I responded with a very gleeful “no” I am her Mom and this is her Dad.  Our little girl has never seen daycare, a baby sitter or a nanny!  We have the luxury of working for ourselves and show others how to do the same, I replyed. 

He was so impressed and I could see his mind ticking…he asked what it was that I do?  I gave him my card and told him to call me or if he knows a MOM that has to leave their kids with someone else to go to work.  He smiled.

This experienced allowed me to think about other parents that have to leave their children in day care or in the hands of someone else and realize how blessed I am to be part of Liberty  League International.

Wow, what a cool blog to tell a story.  I could write a lot about how much my life has changed in the time I’ve been with Liberty League.  But, the brief nutshell is that I was fed up with home-businesses that involved buying products every month…chasing friends and family…trying to convince people to buy potions, lotions and miracle cures.

And worse, when I finally did the math, I realized that the business I was in was going to require me to build an ARMY of customers to ever earn a decent income.

And then I ran across a guy online who had posted some pictures of what kind of lifestyle he was living.  We exchanged phone numbers and had a very no-hype conversation. I attended a conference call.

And I “got it”.

We’ve been with LLI since Oct 2003.  What a difference 4 years has made for us!  I am eternally grateful to be the primary influence in my children’s upbringing.  Olivia is 14, outgoing, artistic, creative, and attractive in so many ways.  Tanner is 7, and just the funniest kid on the planet.  He’s full of confidence, enthusiasm, and is racing thru 1st and 2nd grade this year.  And how about this … I knew what my wife really wanted for Christmas this year!  For years I was never really “present” with my family.  Now, we have lots of fun together … and on a regular basis!  I have so many great friends and mentors in Liberty League, who’ve set great examples for me on how to be a better dad, husband, friend, and entrepreneur.  I could go on all day about what Liberty League, the Beyond Freedom life achievement course, and the conferences have done for me, but I’ll yield the floor for now and be back with another post after our live training next week in Miami.

Those who think rich are rich! Those who think poverty live in poverty!

The reason why people on their way to success read things like Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Beyond Freedom by Brent Payne and Shane Krider, How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie, Robb Report Magazine, or Millionaire Magazine is they are filling their minds with affluence and abundance.

You do get what you focus on after all and what comes out of you is based on what goes into you.

This is simple, if you have decided to become wealthy, you are required to change your thought process. If you do not do this, expect to stay broke!

If you live in the Middle Class it is simply because you have mentally associated yourself with that class. Choose to associate yourself with the Upper Class and you will become the Upper Class. Sounds simple, well it is, look as some of the people in the Upper Class, do they seem really intelligent, or do they just know something that you don’t know?

The answer is that they understand the theory of wealth.

Living in abundance starts in the mind, from there it creates its reality from thought.

People that created great buildings, bridges and vehicles did so first in their mind first. Every great accomplishment started with thought. That being said, you do not need to create a building, bridge or vehicle in order to become wealthy, but you do need to create your own success in your mind first, so your mind has something to go to work on.

Here is how you can start and I know most that read this won’t follow these simple instructions and if we check their bank balance, 6 months from now, it will be the exact same too. This is exactly why they stay broke, they never take action on information.

So those that will, start by printing off this article, then pick up the books, programs and magazines that I mentioned at the beginning of this article. When you have done that, read all the information contained within them, practice the principles to the point they become habits. Acquiring this knowledge will create realistic ideas of what you can have in your life. Follow the instructions of the books and programs to the letter and allow the magazines to serve as some inspiration to your attainable affluence.

You will get what you focus on; know this and believe what I am saying is true.

The next thing to do is to take action on your new acquired knowledge. This part is simple because you will only take action towards attaining your affluent lifestyle. The good news with all of this is that you do not need to have formal education, or lots of money to start, you just require the knowledge that you will attain from the books and magazines you will read.

By the way, make a point of shutting off the electronic intelligence and income reducer (aka: TV), this is a tool designed to entertain the lower ambition pool when they are not working their job(s). You now have the knowledge to do something better with your spare time and that is to create affluence.
